Those Fabulous Bernina tweezers!

And here they are… I just can’t function without these!

They have such a sharp but short bend to them, and they are fantastic for getting a hold of a thread.  I use them on my longarm when a thread breaks and I have to unpick it an inch or two to tie it off.  I’d have to unpick a lot further if I tried to tie the threads with my fingers, but with these tweezers I can tie amazingly short thread ends!

IMG_5598Above is a picture comparing the Bernina tweezers with a standard pair of bent tweezers.  See the difference?  The bent one are definitely better than straight tweezers, but there’s no comparison.

I might think about featuring a tool once a week, about why I like it and how I use it.

  1. Oh man, I totally agree! I love those tweezers and would never be without them. Hmm, maybe I should buy another pair, just to be safe. :-)

LOL, I was thinking about doing the same thing, CJ – a tool a week. What do they say about “great minds”? I LOVE my tweezers! I actually have a pair a tad different – although I have these as well. I’ll have to take a pic to show you them. And, I have NO idea where I bought them.

Was great today at SFTH, I actually got to run the Pro Stitcher on an HQ – Yeah, baby!! SWEET!

I think a tool a week would be fun! I want to see your tweezers!

The ProStitcher should be in your future, you would have so much fun with it! You love embroidery already, you’d take to computerized quilting like a duck to water :)
